The San Felipe Neri school opened in April of 2009 and is located just a few blocks away from the Mount Sinai RdC house. The school is run by the Madres Filipenses, a dynamic group of Colombian nuns. They have been adding a grade each year and currently have a primary school for kindergarten through sixth grade.
Volunteers from the Mount Sinai Rostro de Cristo community teach computer, English, and P.E. classes to all grade levels. They also provide one-on-one tutoring and visit with the students’ families.
